Move-In Information

Welcome to your new home! Here's everything you need for a smooth move-in.

Key Pickup

Keys can be picked up on your scheduled move-in date. Your property manager will coordinate the key handoff and can be reached at the contact number provided when you signed your lease.

Important: Your first month's rent must be paid before keys are released.

Before You Move In Checklist

  • Set up utilities: Contact WE Energies to transfer electric/gas service into your name before move-in day.
  • Renter's insurance: We strongly recommend obtaining renter's insurance to protect your belongings.
  • Set up tenant portal: Register for your online tenant portal to pay rent and submit maintenance requests.
  • Update your address: Notify the post office, update your driver's license, and inform important contacts of your new address.

Move-In Inspection

You will receive a move-in condition checklist with your lease documents. Please complete this form within 7 days of your move-in date.

  • Document any pre-existing damage or issues you notice
  • Take photos of the unit's condition for your records
  • Return the completed form to protect your security deposit
  • Submit any maintenance requests through your tenant portal

Rent & Utilities

Rent Payment

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Pay conveniently through your online tenant portal. Late fees apply after the grace period specified in your lease.

Contact WE Energies at 1-800-242-9137 or visit we-energies.com to set up service.

Water/Sewer/Trash

Municipal utility charges (water, sewer, trash) are billed quarterly and will appear on your tenant portal. Charges are split among tenants per unit where applicable.
